Rain on the Colorado

Colorado rain here in Boulder doesn't come often, and warns before it does.

Everyday the thunderstorms alert the news, then never come...

...yet thunderless drops today, padding down piney in the yard.

First drizzle in a month, prevailing spit, the leading edge of a moist front.

When the rains came, airs fragrant & cool, there was upright rosemary, now that I am resident here.

Brace for the breadth of this Colorado rain, and rain it forth first days and days.
